Birth of an Idea

A series of seven illustrations, sparked by the prompts of the drawing challenge #folktaleweek on instagram in autumn of 2020. I found this challenge just before it started and it sparked something, so I decided to join last-minute. 

Birth - the birth of a new idea.
Ritual - preparing the ground to wave in the seeds of our newborn idea.
Courtship - we all take part in tending to the new glowing and growing idea.
Solstice - we all stand in awe come high bloom.
Death - how time flies.
Harvest.
Dance - and I feel about ready to join everyone in their celebratory dance around this sacred spot.
